Campaign: WASTECON 2023
WASTECON is SWANA's Leadership Executive Summit, offering updates on key topics and valuable networking opportunities for leaders in the solid waste and recycling industry. For the 2023 branding, I was tasked with highlighting the conference’s location, Boston, MA. I created a branding design featuring a red or blue wave graphic, reflecting Boston’s maritime culture, and incorporated photos of Boston or an illustrated graphic of the Boston skyline.
My Role: Lead designer
Responsible for creating a cohesive visual identity (color schemes, logos, graphic elements, imagery style, typography) for the event.
Develop marketing materials including social media graphics, magazine ads, digital ads, and email banners to promote the conference.
Oversee the design of on-site elements such as registration desks, badges, event swag, and signage to enhance attendee experience.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align visual elements with conference goals.
Developed branding that incorporates the conference location.
