Campaign: WASTECON 2023

WASTECON is SWANA's Leadership Executive Summit, offering updates on key topics and valuable networking opportunities for leaders in the solid waste and recycling industry. For the 2023 branding, I was tasked with highlighting the conference’s location, Boston, MA. I created a branding design featuring a red or blue wave graphic, reflecting Boston’s maritime culture, and incorporated photos of Boston or an illustrated graphic of the Boston skyline.

My Role: Lead designer

  • Responsible for creating a cohesive visual identity (color schemes, logos, graphic elements, imagery style, typography) for the event.

  • Develop marketing materials including social media graphics, magazine ads, digital ads, and email banners to promote the conference.

  • Oversee the design of on-site elements such as registration desks, badges, event swag, and signage to enhance attendee experience.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align visual elements with conference goals.

  • Developed branding that incorporates the conference location.
